Editorial Policy
Last reviewed: August 7, 2026
Scentiour publishes practical fragrance education and discovery guidance for readers in the United States, United Kingdom, and beyond. Every page should answer a clear question, explain meaningful limitations, and help a reader make a more informed sampling or buying decision.
Accuracy and sources
We distinguish broadly accepted fragrance education from product-specific claims. Product names, concentrations, note descriptions, sizes, and availability may be checked against official brand or retailer information when relevant. Subjective impressions are identified as guidance rather than universal fact.
Editorial independence
Commercial relationships do not buy a favorable conclusion or guaranteed placement. If Scentiour earns money from an affiliate link, the relationship will be disclosed. Recommendations must still have a clear reader benefit and include relevant drawbacks or uncertainty.
Corrections and updates
We review pages when products change, guidance becomes outdated, or a credible correction is received. Material errors are corrected promptly. Readers can report an issue at hello@scentiour.com and should include the page URL and supporting detail.
Responsible guidance
Fragrance is subjective and performance varies with skin, climate, dosage, and perception. We encourage sampling, considerate application, and compliance with workplace or venue rules. Scentiour does not provide medical advice or guarantee product authenticity.
